Unbranded - 18oz Slub Selvedge - Indigo/Natural Seed - Tight Fit
Every year, we wait patiently for the new iteration of the special edition Unbranded release. Well, it's finally here and it's beyond the pale. They're gone even heavier this round with an 18oz powerhouse. In the past, the slub has been "big slub." This time, it's more of a subtle slubbiness. From all of our experience, this is that slub that dwells beneath the surface and surprises you with the first couple of washes (because it's a short slub). It's not outwardly heavily knotted, but you can see the grid pattern that we can ensure will show up as this denim fades. The weft is this nice warm tone because the natural cotton was never bleached. This will poke through the open spaces in the slub on the front of the denim. You'll also notice the unevenness of the thicker and thinner yarns when you flip the cuff. This is what will ultimately give you all that colorful textures. This is also the first time they've done that veg-tan patch. These are so beautiful and we're so excited to be able to launch them!

Fit Notes: The Tight fit has a medium rise, slim through the seat and thigh with a sharp taper from knee to hem. It is the equivalent of the Naked & Famous Super Guy. Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 31 in all three fits for continuity. they do truly seem to have the same waists from size to size. It's just the base that varies. So we would wear a 31 in all of these. Tommy is 5'10", 170lbs with a 32-33" waist.
